In
Koringberg it’s not what we have – it’s what we
don’t have – petrol stations, traffic, busy shops, banks,
noisy cars, parking attendants, etc. What we do have is open country
roads, wheat fields, a place where electricity cuts are taken as an
opportunity to enjoy the stars and a good South African braai, interesting
insects both great and small, cows, sheep, ducks, chickens, guinea
fowl and even the odd falcon. Enjoy water-skiing and sunset boat trips at Misverstand
Dam. Hiking, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting or horse riding
are all available in the area. The Doll Collection and the Old Blacksmith
Workshop add a taste of history. Paragliding is one of the newer
sports to be enjoyed in the area.
Spend
the night relaxing in the calming atmosphere of the village at one
of the guest establishments. Conference facilities can also be arranged.
